Art meets Island Atmosphere
SIVA presents her works at the Northern Lights Concept Store on Sylt
Westerland / Sylt – from Monday, 22nd December 2025, for four weeks
From this coming Monday, the internationally acclaimed artist SIVA will present a curated selection of her works at the renowned Northern Lights Concept Store, Norderstraße 29, in Westerland. The exhibition will be on display for four weeks and invites visitors to experience art within a distinctive island atmosphere.
Over recent years, the Northern Lights Concept Store has established itself as an exceptional venue for creative presentations, where art, design, lifestyle and exclusive brand experiences seamlessly converge.
SIVA – Work and Practice
SIVA’s works breathe depth and radiate an intense use of colour alongside a distinctive, spiritually aesthetic visual language. Her practice is characterised by an experimental approach and a consistent focus on the inner essence of each work.
On a subtle, energetic level, SIVA connects with her paintings. Each piece carries the magic of the sacred springs of Avalon – SIVA’s personal place of power. Using this water, she places the first impulses onto the canvas and then allows to emerge whatever speaks to her from within the image. The creative process resembles the deep, absorbed play of a child: free, intuitive and beyond intention. Those who have witnessed SIVA at work are familiar with this sense of enchantment and the lightness of her presence. SIVA does not paint with an objective in mind – it is the images that find SIVA.

“Where has one ever seen such a blue?”
– Quote from a laudatory speech on SIVA’s work by Professor Uli Rothfuss, PhDr., M.Sc.
Her colour dramaturgy is imbued with strong emotional force. It gives rise both to freely flowing worlds of form and to clear compositional structures such as the circle or the square, which function as focal points of visual concentration.
SIVA’s body of work opens up a multifaceted, poetic visual language that seeks to make the hidden impulses of life visible to the viewer.
SIVA’s art is represented online at www.thesiva.com, while www.sivalonia.com presents further significant parts of her oeuvre. Her creative practice is defined by energy and diversity, ranging from fine art and word poetry to musical projects such as SIVA SIVALONIA and SPIRIT OF SIVALONIA.
In her two stores in the Nordheide – SIVA STYLE and SIVA HEART SPACE – the artist also stages fashion, art, music and energy work in a unique way, opening her field to those who are interested, curious or searching.
Collectors, VIPs, global players, as well as art enthusiasts from business, politics and aristocratic circles are among the international admirers of her work. SIVA moves with confidence between contemporary painting, symbolism and highly personal expression – a combination that resonates strongly worldwide. Her works are available as originals, master replicas, art prints and limited editions, underlining the high esteem in which her artistic output is held.

Precision and passion at every moment during the final of the Genesis Golf Tour 2025 on Sylt
The Genesis German Golf Tour 2025 stopped in Stuttgart, Hanover, Mühlheim, Munich and Frankfurt before the final was held on Sylt from 19 to 21 September.
Top sporting performances in a unique island setting – the grand finale of this special tournament series took place at one of Germany’s most beautiful golf courses.
The exclusive golf highlight at the Budersand Golf Club offered a spectacular final tournament on a challenging green, for which participants could qualify through dealer tournaments.
The Northern Lights Store in Westerland presented the brand’s current models from January to December 2025 and, with test drives across the island, was a unique representation of Genesis in the far north. We would like to thank all our guests for their cooperation and great interest.
Thank you to everyone who was able to experience the Genesis Experience 2025 on Sylt.

Sylt – a destination like no other
Sylt has been considered one of Germany’s most sought-after destinations for decades. Every year, the island attracts around 700,000 visitors who are looking for a unique combination of nature, exclusivity and Nordic serenity. Hardly any other place combines wide horizons with such a diverse landscape – from breathtaking dune landscapes to endless beaches along the North Sea.
The Red Cliff between Wenningstedt and Kampen is particularly impressive, with its cliffs up to 30 metres high that have been braving wind and weather for over 100,000 years.
Sylt is also one of Germany’s last large-scale nature reserves. Large parts of the island are under strict protection in order to preserve the fragile dune landscape, rare animal species and the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. This special responsibility gives the island an incomparable aura of authenticity and tranquillity – an ideal setting for exclusive events such as the final of the Genesis German Golf Tour.
Sylt is not only a place of relaxation, but also a way of life. The combination of unspoilt nature, sophisticated gastronomy and an unmistakable maritime character makes the island the perfect setting for extraordinary experiences.
MEVOLT E-Charging invites electric car drivers to try out charging
Since April 2024, MEVOLT E-Charging has been showcasing a highlight of its current product range in the Northern Lights Concept Store.
Electric mobility plays an important role in the energy transition and in achieving climate targets – not only in Germany. In 2024, the number of new BEV registrations stood at 380,609 purely electric passenger cars. The dynamics of the industry will change in the coming years as a result of EU regulation of supply chains and raw materials – a change that can be seen as an opportunity. European manufacturers are strengthening their competitive position by focusing on sustainability.
With charging solutions ‘Made in Germany’, MEVOLT E-Charging stands for short delivery routes, recyclable materials and well-thought-out designs. Based in Landsberg am Lech, the company has set milestones for a CO2-free future in recent years with the establishment and expansion of operational charging parks for German flagship projects in the field of e-mobility. Ultra-slim wallbox carriers from the MK41 series for space-saving use of wallboxes were among the innovations with which MEVOLT was represented at the Power2Drive trade fair in 2024. Hot-dip galvanised steel from the production of partner Meindl-Köhle Umform- und Systemtechnik ensures the wind and weather-resistant durability of MEVOLT solutions. Thanks to the modern plug-in system, all components are easily accessible for maintenance at any time.
Well-known sports presenter Kai Ebel gave a media-effective presentation of the innovative MEVOLT MK4 ROOF CHARGER, a patented ceiling solution with a handy remote control for garages, carports and multi-storey car parks. After charging, the charging plug slides back into the charging system without touching the floor and is then clean and dry and ready for the next charging process.
The team led by MEVOLT developer Matthias Müller installed the only MEVOLT ROOF CHARGER on Sylt in time for the opening in front of the Northern Lights Concept Store. Since then, electric car drivers have been able to test the ultra-modern charging station here.
Metorbike celebrates its Sylt premiere at the Northern Lights Store
Metorbike GmbH, the innovative start-up for customisable electric motorcycles Made in Germany, is bringing its unique style to the North Sea. On 24 September 2025, the company will showcase its latest models on Sylt for the very first time. Within the exclusive setting of the Northern Lights Store in Westerland, design enthusiasts, technology aficionados, and individualists will have the opportunity to experience Metorbikes up close.

This special event invites visitors to discover the fascinating blend of iconic café racer design and cutting-edge electric technology. Handcrafted in the company’s manufactory in Meddewade near Hamburg, Metorbikes are renowned for their high degree of customisation and technical sophistication.
“Sylt stands for exclusivity, design consciousness, and a passion for the extraordinary – values that perfectly align with our philosophy,” explains co-founder Marvin Rau. “We don’t create mere means of transport – we create personal statements on two wheels. We are truly excited to showcase our Metorbikes in the inspiring atmosphere of the Northern Lights Store and to connect with people on the island.”

Three models for every rider
The Metorbike range is available in three performance classes, offering different riding experiences and licence requirements:
-
Metorbike Classic 50: Perfect for urban riding, reaching speeds of up to 49.5 km/h with a peak output of 9 kW (12 hp). Can be ridden from the age of 15 with an AM licence, or with a standard car licence (Class B).
-
Metorbike 70 Pro: With a top speed of 70 km/h and a peak output of 11 kW (15 hp), this model is designed for riders with licence class A1 or the B196 extension.
-
Metorbike Max 100: The most dynamic model, capable of 100 km/h with a peak output of 12 kW (16 hp), requiring licence class A1 or B196.
Thanks to their lightweight build (from just 80 kg), all models are highly agile and versatile. They can even be transported on a bicycle carrier, stored in a motorhome garage, or parked inside your living room.
Innovative technology in a classic look
Beneath the retro-inspired design lies state-of-the-art technology. A particular highlight is the optional 360° sound module: with eight selectable engine sounds, it not only delivers a more emotional riding experience but also increases safety in traffic. The volume can be adjusted individually – or muted entirely.
The removable battery is another innovation, easily charged at any household socket. Customers can choose between various battery sizes depending on their desired range (up to 145 km). The batteries are manufactured in Kiel. Other features include efficient motors with energy recuperation, modern braking systems (some with ABS), an intuitive touchscreen display, and RFID key card access.

Individuality as a trademark
Personalisation is at the very heart of Metorbike. Each motorcycle can be tailored to the customer’s personal taste:
-
Paintwork: Almost any colour is possible – from metallic tones to custom logos and patterns. Even a colour match to your own car can be achieved.
-
Seat options: Choose between single or dual seats, upholstered in high-quality leather (also available in vegan versions) or crafted from fine woods such as smoked oak, natural oak, or mahogany.
-
Details: Grips, leather stitching colours and patterns, as well as handlebars, can all be individually configured.
-
Branding: Corporate clients can design Metorbikes as unique company vehicles with custom branding.
-
Handlebars: From a high cruiser bar to a sporty low bar – the choice is yours.
With the online configurator available at metorbike.de, customers can design their very own dream bike.

Rare access to the world of Varelmann & Varelmann
Last weekend, the Northern Lights Concept Store offered a rare glimpse behind the scenes of one of Europe’s most secretive luxury manufacturers.
Numerous guests immersed themselves in the exclusive world of Varelmann & Varelmann, which is otherwise only revealed to a strictly selected clientele. In the workshop of brothers Stefan and Ulrich Varelmann, visionary technology merges with consummate craftsmanship. CNC machines and robotics meet the masterful precision of experienced hands. The result is surfaces of incomparable radiance – made of titanium, brass, stainless steel or gold, refined by the finest cuts, flawless polishing and artistic electroplating. The creations include custom-made fittings, handles and switches as well as hand-polished railings, mirrors, frames and large-scale wall and ceiling coverings. Each piece is a distinctive, one-of-a-kind item, designed for an international elite who value uncompromising quality as much as absolute discretion.
The presentation was accompanied by a culinary programme that was in no way inferior to the standards of the manufactory: champagne from Nicolas Feuillatte, selected Italian fine wines from Piero Massi, artfully created signature cocktails from vice world champion Toddy Tapper and delicious snacks from chef Norbert Tampe.

The result was an overall experience that not only offered a rare glimpse into closely guarded spheres, but also conveyed the feeling of being part of an extraordinary and unrepeatable moment. Those who cannot tear themselves away from the magic of this extraordinary manufacturer will discover an exquisite selection of unique pieces in the Northern Lights Concept Store that make the special tangible.
The fine wines from Piero Massi rounded off the evening at the Northern Lights Concept Store in delightful fashion.
During the event, festival organiser Bernd Breiter presented his latest project: the Smart Rebel Convention is a movement that brings young people together with visionaries to find answers for the future. A journey for all the senses with knowledge, beats and culinary delights.
The SRC will launch in autumn 2025, supported by the European Union, ESA, Deutsche Bahn, Goethe University and the State of Hesse. The kick-off will be an exclusive supporters’ gala on 29 October in Frankfurt am Main, right in the heart of Europe, followed by micro-events in real and virtual space. The 10-day Talks & Beats event series will culminate in the finale on 6 and 7 November.

Arthur Abraham on Sylt
Arthur Abraham visits the Northern Lights Concept Store on Sylt – joint passion project in the pipeline
Former professional boxer and 18-time undefeated world champion Arthur Abraham visited Sylt in August 2025 at the invitation of his long-time friend Michael Gleissner and visited the Northern Lights Concept Store. During his stay, he planned a special social project aimed specifically at children and young people.
„It is a great pleasure for us to be able to work with Arthur Abraham on a project close to our hearts, one that will make a positive contribution to the next generation”,
explains Michael Hoppe, managing director of the Northern Lights Concept Store. ‘Preparations are already underway, and we will announce further details shortly,’ comments Michael Gleissner, business partner and co-initiator.
Arthur Abraham will soon return to the island to personally present the next stages of the project. To this day, he remains one of the most significant professional boxers of his generation.
Known for his uncompromising fighting style and iron willpower, he celebrated international success with spectacular fights. After the end of his active career, Abraham is now involved in social initiatives and motivates young people to develop courage, discipline and confidence.

The Secrets of Varelmann – Craftsmanship in Perfection
Varelmann & Varelmann is a secret address for anyone looking for something extraordinary. Where absolute precision, timeless elegance and uncompromising quality are required, brothers Stefan and Ulrich Varelmann demonstrate their mastery. Whether exclusive yachts, private villas, luxury hotels or elegant spas – their work is always aimed at a clientele that demands the highest standards and values discretion as much as perfection.
Deeply rooted in traditional craftsmanship and at the same time visionary in their use of innovative technologies, the Varelmann brothers combine the best of both worlds. In their workshop, state-of-the-art CNC machines and robot technology merge with the precise skills of experienced master craftsmen. The result is surfaces made of gold, stainless steel, brass or titanium, refined by the finest cuts and electroplating. The spectrum of their work ranges from custom-made fittings, handles and switches to hand-polished railings, mirrors and frames to large-scale wall and ceiling coverings.
Unique bespoke products are created in their premises, which must be kept officially confidential. This is because their high-profile clientele – which includes royalty, tech billionaires and oligarchs – demands absolute anonymity. That is why their handcrafted masterpieces cannot be found on any website and do not appear on any social media channel.
Every piece that leaves the Varelmann factory is unique – individually designed, technically perfect and durable.

On 13 and 14 September 2025, Northern Lights Sylt x Varelmann & Varelmann offered a glimpse behind the scenes for one weekend only, accompanied by champagne, cocktails and culinary delights.
A selection of the pieces can still be found exclusively in our store.
